Bridget Rover Field Trial September 21-25, 2009

EADS Astrium provided the great opportunity for the PRoVisG partners to participate in a field trial using Bridget, Astrium's ExoMars rover prototype, at a quarry in Sandy near Stevenage, North of London. The site had been chosen for its similarity to Martian terrain. The project partners brought camera equipment to be mounted on the rover and acquired important new image datasets for research and development.
